Disclosure and use
Personal information collected from a customer is not disclosed to anyone outside of The Company unless the agency believes, on reasonable grounds, that the disclosure of the information to the authorities is necessary in an emergency or to ensure public safety or health.
Personal information collected by The Company is used only for the purpose it is provided, namely for mailing out (to those who have provided their personal information) details of the accommodation offered and any other marketing activity The Company initiates. You may opt out from such newsletters and/or marketing initiatives by informing us you wish to not to be included.
If the customer expresses interest in purchasing an English course offered by a third party English school, we may pass the potential customer’s details to the English school in order to inform him/her about their offers.
Access and correction
An individual can access information about themselves only by contacting The Company office. You are entitled to a copy of the information we hold about you (for a €20 fee) and allowed to correct any inaccuracies. Proof of identification (either a current driver's licence or passport) must be supplied when accessing the information.
Upon request, The Company will advise an individual of the information it holds about them (name, postal address and email address), how this information is collected, the purpose it is used for and how the information is disclosed.
Data quality, storage & security
The personal information collected by The Company is stored electronically on The Company's own software systems.
This electronic information is kept secure at all times.
Access to The Company's electronic information is only available to Company staff members only (pursuant to a confidentiality agreement). All personal information is kept up to date where possible.
Any complaints relating to The Company's personal information handling practices are dealt with by its management staff.
Complaints may be communicated directly with the The Company staff either by phone, written letter or email.
Every complaint will be dealt with expeditiously and where reasonably practicable to the satisfaction of the person making the complaint.
